We are hiring...

Dental Technician

As a Dental Technician, your responsibilities/tasks will include:

  • Constructing full and partial dentures with precision and care.

  • Create orthodontic appliances (e.g., retainers, splints).

  • Confidently working with balanced and lingualised occlusion setups.

  • Clasp bending, waxing up, and flasking.

  • Trimming and polishing.

  • Produce mouthguards, nightguards, and whitening trays.

  • Follow dental impressions and clinician instructions to make accurate prosthetics.

  • Wax modeling, and manual sculpting.

  • Adjust and repair broken or damaged prostheses.

  • Contributing to a high-performing lab team focused on patient satisfaction.

  • Supporting efficient lab workflow and maintaining quality standards.

  • CAD Experience is a bonus

  • Registration with DCNZ

Clinical Dental Technician

As a Clinician, your responsibilities/tasks will include:

  • Perform comprehensive clinical assessments and develop appropriate treatment plan

  • Take impressions and oversee lab work related to prosthetics and appliances

  • Collaborate with dental technicians, dental assistants, and administrative staff

  • Ensure compliance with infection control and health & safety protocols

  • Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care

  • Refer patients to specialists when necessary

  • Maintain a high standard of clinical documentation, informed consent and patient information.

  • Adhere to professional and ethical standards set by the Dental Council of New Zealand (DCNZ)

  • BDentTech, PGDipCDTech, or equivalent degree recognized by the Dental Council of New Zealand

  • Full registration and current Annual Practicing Certificate (APC) with the DCNZ
